Secure erasure to DoD standard, clean install of an up-to-date macOS.

Our cosmetic grades
The grade describes the outside of the machine and nothing else. Every grade goes through the same technical inspection and carries the same 12-month warranty.
Virtually no signs of use: clean casing and screen, hard to tell from new once it is switched on. The right choice if you want an immaculate Mac.
Visible signs of use: light scratches on the casing, faint marks on the screen when it is off. No effect whatsoever on how it works. The best balance of price and appearance for everyday use.
Marked signs of use: scratches, scuffs, sometimes small cosmetic dents. No effect on how it works: it passed exactly the same 42-point inspection as every other grade. Ideal for Apple performance without paying for looks.

What “refurbished” means here
French law defines the word. A device may be called refurbished only if it has been tested for its functions, if the work needed to restore it to good working order has been carried out, and if its data has been erased. That is the standard we work to, and it is the reason the grades above describe appearance only.
